Washing of hats
1. If there are decorations on the hat, they should be removed first.
2. It is advisable to soak the hat in water and neutral detergent before cleaning.
3. Gently brush with a soft brush.
4. Brush and wash the inner part of the sweat band (in contact with the head ring) several times to thoroughly remove sweat stains and bacteria. Of course, if you are using antibacterial and odor resistant materials? Then this step is waived.
5. Fold the hat into four petals and gently shake off any moisture. Do not use a washing machine to dehydrate.
6. Spread out the hat, stuff an old towel inside, lay it flat and dry in the shade. Avoid hanging it to dry in the sun.
Washing of special hats
1. The leather cap can be wiped clean with sliced scallions, or with a cloth dipped in gasoline to smooth the hair, achieving a good washing effect.
2. The stains on the fine felt hat can be wiped off with a mixture of ammonia and an equal amount of alcohol. Dip a piece of silk cloth in this mixture first, and then scrub it. Don't make the hat too wet, otherwise it will easily take shape.
3. It is best to fill the knitted hat with crumpled paper and cloth balls after washing, and then let it cool dry.
4. Wool hats, do not wash with water because wool will shrink. If the hat gets caught in dust or pet hair shavings, you can use wide faced tape and fold it over your fingers to remove surface dust. Wool hats do not need to be cleaned every time, but can easily shorten their lifespan. If cleaning is necessary, dry cleaning is an appropriate way.
